Hi, I’m Kirra

A dedicated personal trainer and the owner of Active Nation.

In 2007, with the support and guidance of a committed personal trainer, I lost 20kg and found a passion for health and wellbeing. I had energy and I felt amazing. This inspired me to become a personal trainer myself and to pursue my desire to help others. I believe that any positive change, no matter how small, makes a big difference.

Since beginning in the fitness industry in 2009, I have supported and worked in many gyms, with numerous clients helping them achieve their health and fitness goals. During this time I have seen many different fitness and diets fads come and go, but the one style of training that has worked for all my clients is strength training. No matter what age, ability, or experience a client has had – I have seen the many benefits that strength training has to offer. This is why I am so passionate about this style of training.


My Mission Is To Empower, Educate and Support Females To Live a Strong, Healthy and Happy Life

Before I started coaching, I noticed a huge gap in the fitness industry between men and women’s training. Women would do a lot of cardio, and men would lift weights.

The majority of women that I spoke to thought of strength training as either scary or something that will make you look bulky (which is so far from the truth).

These beliefs drove me to create Active Nation, a safe space for females to feel comfortable lifting weights in the gym. I have debunked the myths of female strength training and all my clients are converted and will never look back!

I am most proud of seeing all my ladies reclaim their strength, self-confidence and live a life free of the burden of extreme dieting and training regimes.
